"Here we are." said the hover driver, coming to a stop just a short distance before the gates of Luca. Michael stared up at the city's walls. No matter how many times he came here, the city never failed to amaze him with its great size. He always felt so good to be here, yet at the same time so bad. Bad things had happened here in the past, and Michael had a nack for feeling negative energy left over in a place where evils had occured.
Taking his mind off of this subject, Michael lept down off of the hover, turned around, and extended his hand to Reji to help her down.

Reji jumped down, tripping a little as she landed. "Woah..." she muttered, looking around. The gates were huge. "So...this is how we get in Luca? It looks so big." Reji didn't much like tight crowds, but she was getting plenty of good vibes from this place. To say the least, she was getting a bit excited.

"Yep, this is Luca." said Michael, a smirk spreading across his face. "Second biggest city in Spira. Home of the Luca Goers, as well as the only blitzball stadium in Spira." Once again, Michael's mind traveled to some far off, fantastic place. "The city has quite the dark nature," he said while gazing off into the distance, "but it's inspiring in some ways. But I won't start rambling about all of that. I'll let you see it for yourself. Let's go." Michael grabbed Reji's arm and began to lead her towards, and then through the gates, into the bustling city of Luca.

Dark nature? Interesting. Reji followed Michael, ready to see the sights. The place was even bigger than she had expected. Since she mainly traveled to distant towns and forests, a whole entire city, especially one as big as Luca, was fascinating to her. "And here I thought I had explored most of Spira. Truly it must have been only a small part I've explored," she said, mostly to herself.

"Spira's pretty big, but I guess it wouldn't take too long to travel the entirety of the continent." said Michael, continuing to walk through the city with Reji's hand firmly in his. "After all, all summoners practically did so in the past, right?" Michael then paused in both speech and movement, in order to give Reji some time to observe the sights in silence. While her gaze might wander, his gaze was now fixated on her. She was even more beautiful in this city filled with light. He felt as though he had been hypnotized, though something in his mind was telling him not to look for too long. Through strength of will, he eventually pulled his eyes away, looking at a nearby building instead.

Reji was blushing furiously as she looked around, amazed by the incredible brightness of the city. He's holding my hand... she thought as she studied a building taller than a tree. Nervously, she dared to take a look at her new companion. He was definitely good-looking. Ack, better not do that...he'll think I'm paranoid. She bit her lip and pretended to be interested in what was ahead of her. Which was a lamppost.

"Mmm. Beautiful." Michael said to himself, referring both to the city and to Reji. He then began to speak loud enough for her to here clearly. "Sometimes I wonder how long it must take to build a city like this. Seems like decades. But I don't guess that's very important, right?" Michael chuckled a bit before turning his gaze back to Reji. "So, see any place that looks good to eat at? The choice is yours."

Reji was almost too absorbed in her sightseeing to hear what he said. "Huh? Oh, I see a lot of nice-looking restaraunts." She squinted to look into one a little to the right of where she was standing. "Hey, people are dancing in that one," she remarked, pointing. The place appeared to be a mix between a prom dance and a restaraunt, but it looked lively.

"Hm. So they are." said Michael. He secretly wished that she didn't want to eat there. If she wanted to eat there, then she'd probably want to dance. Something that Michael wasn't exceedingly good at. But he hid his uncomfortability about dancing by smiling brightly. "So, is this where you want to eat?"

Reji nodded. "Yeah. I need to learn to be around people more. I've been alone too long," she admitted. The lights and sounds were sort of making her want to be amongst the crowd, with the people. But Reji would surely do whatever she needed to fit in with this new city.

"Well then, I guess this is the place." said Michael, walking over to the door and pulling it open. He performed a sweeping gesture towards the doorway. "After you." he said, taking the chivalrous path of allowing the lady to enter first. He already knew that this might not end well, but he was prepared for the worst. After all, he had survived worse things than dancing in the past.

"Thanks." Reji stepped inside, a little sorry to be leaving the bright light of the city. But she soon discovered that the place was like the city - bright. She chose a table at random, mainly so she wouldn't be trampled by all the girls running toward some dude, and sat down. "How's this?"

Michael worked his way through the stampede of women behind Reji, sitting down at the table after her. "This is just fine." he replied to her question, and looked away from her to the waitress as she approached. "Hello. What can I get for the two of you?" asked the waitress. "I'll have the special." Michael said in reply, giving her a courteous smile.
((I don't know what kind of food Spirans eat, so I guess you just wing it.))

((Yeah, if I were really in this rp, I'd get a huge cheeseburger.))
"Same for me," Reji said politely. This place is nice - aside from the screaming girls. She studied the interior decorations of the restaraunt. It was a nice futuristic style, and Reji liked it. It wasn't like the olden-day decorations of the so-called restaraunts in her town. Sighing, she looked at Michael and smiled. "Thanks for taking me out today."

"Hmph. I wish you'd stop thanking me." said Michael, smirking and narrowing his eyes until they were nearly closed. "I'm not sure what you were going to do if we hadn't done this, but I was going to go to Youth League headquarters for more boring training. So I'll accept your thanks, but I say thank you in return, for actually coming with me. To be honest, I half expected you to slap me, what with that look you had on your face."
