Maggie is like a cat in many ways; for one, her fighting style was more-or-less like a feline. Plus, she was always curious. Which was one of the reasons why she came to Zanarkand. She'd never really explored the place all that well.
Plus, there could be hidden treasures under the rubble.
Turning over a rock with a great heave, Maggie sighed lightly, finding nothing but more rocks. There surely had to be something for this little treasure-hunter. That was when something caught her eye.
Looking back in the crevice, she slipped off her studded glove and reached her arm in, her fingers wrapping around the object. Pulling it out, she found that it was just an old, rusty bangle. But seeing as it might be worth something, she decided to keep it and clean it up later on.
Sitting down on one of the many rocks, Maggie decided to take a short break to get back her mass of energy, and enjoy the lovely scenery.

Jovial walked along the ruins with his staff that all songstresses were supposed to have and just looked around. He wasn't much into the treasure hunting but he loved to come out and see all of the ruins to remind himself about the past. It wasn't easy because he wasn't like his oldest brother who could stand blood and gore. No, Jovial was the baby of the family and didn't like that kind of stuff. Thus, why he was a songstress; no matter how much the name embarrassed him.
Coming across a young lady he looked around to make sure that no one had seen him but then again why would anyone be out here? "So sorry, I didn't know anyone was out here!" he said blushing lightly before turning around. He wished sometimes that he was as brave as his second brother was.

Maggie turned, hearing not only footsteps, but a soft voice following them. She smiled, slipping the glove back on after setting the bangle in her bag, looking up at the boy smuggly with her arms resting on her knees.
"It's alright. It's a free country; there are people everywhere."
She laughed lightly, but then brushed off the stone next to her, gesturing for him to sit down. The young woman felt like asking about the microphone in his hand, and obviously he was a songstress, but she was always curious as to if there were any male songstresses. Well, her question was answered.

He couldn't help but grow shy when the girl asked him to sit. Jovial wasn't the best with people, as anyone could guess from his timid nature, and it was a big surprise that this young lady would want a male Songstress to sit next to her. It was most of the time considered girly when a man wore the clothing and carried the staff of a Song-Warrior. His brothers, bar Deviant, never teased him and when Deviant did Jovial knew he was only joking around. He was always joking.
He silently took the seat next to her holding his staff safely in his small hands looking over at her offering her a smile. "Thank you, maiden, it's an honor!" he told her having been taught by his older brother's many smacks to the face that it was best to be kind towards women. "And just to answer the question in your eyes, yes I am a Songstress."

She chuckled lightly, running a hand through her hair, "Yeah, I'm sorry. I've just never seen a male songstress in all of my travels." Maggie felt for some reason that she was being a bit rude. But in order to try and save face, she gave him her name.
"I'm Magnisca. But everyone calls me Maggie."
With a nod, she then started to tap the back of her studded knuckles of her right hand on one of the crumbled pieces of rubble that they were sitting on.

"No, it's okay! I understand that there aren't many men who want to become Songstresses it's just something that I've always been good at!" he told her making his smile a bit broader as he sat there next to her leaning on his staff that was propped against the surface of the rock. There wasn't anything he liked better than having an intelligent conversation and now that the awkwardness of him being a girly man was over they could now talk of other things.
"I'm Jovial Malice! It's a pleasure to meet you Maggie!" he told her still smiling gently. It was a smile that both of his brothers had always told him he looked cute when he gave it. He never usually stopped smiling unless someone either made fun of him or his brothers or his beliefs.

"But I think it actually takes a bit of courage for a man to become a songstress. I have to give you Kudos for that. You're brave for picking that as your default dressphere."
She nodded, then tossed a rock into the distance, "It's nice to meet you too, Jovial! I love your name. It makes me so happy." Maggie gave him another kind smile, and then thought of something, turning to her new friend excitedly, "We should form a party together! The fiends seemed to have come back and it's not very safe for a songstress to be travelling all alone; it's dangerous, especially through here."

He looked over at her surprised at first then grew a kind smile. "Thank you, Maggie, that's such a wonderful thing for you to say!" he told her feeling a warmth in his body that he only usually got from his brothers. He had always loved dancing and singing and his brothers had never really discouraged him from it. Sure he got a few teasing remarks from Deviant but that was just Deviant and it was understandable.
"Jovial actually means happy," he told her giggling slightly as he spoke with her. Sure, he was a guy but he still was slightly femine enough to giggle! So sue him! He blinked at her when she suggested him be in a party with her. "A party? I've never been in a party except with my triplet brothers before! It sounds like tons of fun!" he said to her smiling brightly again as he shifted his staff slightly.

"Wonderful!" she exclamined, jumping up, the chain that she wore as a belt jingling just slightly with her sudden movement, "It's settled then." Maggie smiled and held her gloved hand out to him, "Welcome aboard Mr. Jovial."
She laughed and jumped, turning at the same time to look out in the distance. It was a beautiful sight to see the multicolored pyreflies floating around everywhere, giving the place a sense of mystery, along with the Munkies running around.

He jumped slightly at her happiness having never met anyone with her enthusiasm. Of course Deviant was hyper most of the time but that was only when he had won something or cracked a funny joke and don't even get Jovial started on all the sugar that boy could consume! It was disturbing to say the least. He looked at her hand and smiled taking it to shake happily. "Thank you, Ms. Maggie! Hey that almost rhymed!" he chuckled at his own silliness.
He too stared out at the scene before him and loved in that moment to be a wanderer. Jovial had never belonged to anything but his family that was currently split up. Deviant and Spectral were both wanderers as well and they all met up maybe once a week to get something to eat together then they were off in separate ways again. It was hard to be away from his brothers but he liked solitude so it was fine.
