A small smile spread across her lips, "Heh well we aren't that different. I'd result to inflicting physical pain too..." she said with a smirk. "But yeah I guess I so have a short temper, huh? Ah well, I can't help it. I guess you know that already." Azul laughed slightly, "And what do you mean you can't communicate with people? You're talking to me right now aren't you?" she told him a smirk forming. She tilted her head at him, "Hmm you just need some practice, that's all. Thats really quite a surprise though. I thought you would be the type that's great at that kind of thing." Azul laughed silently, "So...does that mean you're shy?" she said trying hard not smirk. She thought about his last words, "Yeah well I'm glad I'm me. I wouldn't want him in my face all of the time or saying perverted things to me...".

"Well, what I meant was.. I can't communicate well like a regular person. I'll be perfectly fine speaking my mind in the middle of business but.. being normal isn't so easy. I wasn't quite so social," he said, rubbing the back of his head slightly. He glanced over at her. "No, I'm not necessarily shy. I just can't act like myself because the real me is mostly business. I don't know much about fun. And Gippal.. well, they're probably either all over each other or killing each other. Who knows.." He smirked, remembering that he had had them share a room the night before. Baralai was wondering if Gippal made it out alive or not.

"You're talking normally now..." she commented still smirking at him. "Like I said, you just need practice." Azul nodded, "See...that's your problem. Everything can't be business, that's why you need a break!" She grinned at him, "I promise you, nothing will happen and you can wait tomorrow to investigate. If someone gets hurt then I'll take all of the blame." Azul nodded again, "I know a lot of fun things to do. Hmm...you just...need to get out of Bevelle. 'Cause all you're going to do is think about business here...". She laughed again, "Oh I bet they're all over each other." she said, "Yup...".

When Azul had pointed out that he was speaking just fine, he tilted his head in thought and it struck him as funny. "I.. hadn't noticed that..." he said. She was pretty much right. Here he was, spilling his thoughts out about Rikku, her, and even himself, and he hadn't realized it whatsoever. He sighed and ran a hand absently over his face, his chocolate brown eyes on the ground. "So.. what exactly do you have in mind for.. 'fun?'' He glanced over at her, hoping it wasn't anything crazy.

Azul grinned, "See! You do have people skills, you just didn't realize it." Her lips curled in a smirk and she glanced up at the sky. "Hmm well let's see...there are a lot of fun things to do..." she commented putting a finger to her chin and thinking. "Like...Luca. Theres always something to do there....And um...theres the Calm Lands still...with the games...and chocobos and um.....other...stuff?" She stifled a nervous laugh scratching the back of her head, "Heh....lots and lots of fun stuff....". Her face had flushed red, all her talk about fun and she hadn't a clue about what they could do. "Heheheh.....".

He nodded, crossing his right arm over his chest and the other propped on top if it, his pointer finger currently tapping his chin. "True. But if I'm skipping duty, that'd be the easiest way to get caught. I really don't want to deal with the Council right now..." he said, almost as if he was musing aloud to himself. An idea then popped into his head and he raised his eyes from the ground yet again to look at her. "Well, do you have any favorite places to go to? Not all fun and games are the local ones."

"Oh well, you see....I haven't been everywhere in Spira yet...I only know a few of the places, I always stayed at Bikanel until...Home was destroyed..." she explained with a sigh. "I'm not like Rikku, I've never been on any adventures." Her gaze went to the ground. "But...you wouldn't like Bikanel..." she said with yet another sigh, "I just liked to build Machina there, but I'm sure that wouldn't be very much fun for you..." Azul frowned staring at the ground with her sparkling emerald eyes. "Ah well....I tried to think of something....I'm sorry." she apologized, "I guess I can never do anything right."

Baralai placed a hand on her shoulder, looking down at her although he couldn't quite see her face to look in her eyes when he told her the truth. "Azul, you don't have to apologize just because you haven't seen enough of the world like Rikku has. And you certainly can't keep putting yourself down the way you have been. Rikku took up the important role of being Yuna's guardian three years ago and that is what led her to see most of Spira. Fame isn't important. It's who you are and want to be," he said. At least, that was what he thought about things. "Come on. Let's just walk a little bit and we'll probably think of something. Who knows, maybe that something will come to us." He shrugged before moving away, his hand slipping from her shoulder slowly as he did.

Azul smiled slightly, "Thanks..." she said following and walking beside him. "I guess you're right. I mean...so what if I haven't seen all of Spira? I will someday...ah well. I don't really want to be like Rikku, I just...want to be me." She took in a deep breath glancing around. Out of nowhere it seemed, Kieran was behind her. "Why, hello Princess." he said giving her one of his charming grins. He ignored the fact that Baralai was standing right there, but that isn't much of a surprise...he'd rather focus his attention on Azul. She turned around to look at him, "Oh hi, Kieran." she said in response to him. Kieran blinked, she usually blushed and smiled when he talked to her. "So...what are you doing?" he asked curiously, eyebrow raised. "I'm just taking a walk with Baralai," she replied. Kieran glanced briefly at the Praetor forcing his eyes to keep from narrowing. "Oh...I see." Kieran said crossing his arms across his chest. Azul smiled, "Hmm...something wrong? You don't sound very...happy." she told him curiously. Kieran shook his head, "Why, not at all. I'm always happy when I'm around you, Princess." he said managing another charming smile. Instead of making her blush, she laughed. "Heh, you have seriously got to be kidding me. There's no way anyone could always be happy when their around me." she said holding back another laugh. Kieran clenched his teeth together, "Heh...oh yes...I had forgotten. well let's just say whenever you're happy...I'm happy." Azul just smirked, "Then hmm...you must not be very happy." So it seemed that his attempts at sucking-up and being charming weren't exactly working. Kieran twitched slightly, what was wrong with her? She used to always agree with him and everything, y'know act like a total flirt. "Oh well...maybe you're just hanging around with the wrong people." he said casually glancing at Baralai for a mere second, "you know...people that will make you angry." Azul gave him an odd look, "Well no one here is making me angry..." she explained. He just blinked biting his tongue. "I didn't say that..." he said. "Oh but I know that's what you meant, I may be blonde, but I'm not stupid." she said still smirking. "I know, you're very intelligent." "Of course I am." "Yeah..." "That's right..." "Okay yes you are, done." "Don't tell me when to stop, I'm not going to listen." "Okay okay, I didn't say a word." "Good." "So why don't you come back to Bikanel with me?" "I'm staying with Baralai." "Why?" "Because I want to." "You'd rather stay with him then me?" "...."

Baralai only watched the charade from where he stood, arms crossed over his chest as his eyes flickered back and forth between the two as they talked. From this stand point, Baralai could notice that Azul's friend was beginning to look a bit agitated by what she said and almost as if he was about to lash out. Stepping forward, he placed a hand comfortingly on Azul's shoulder, looking at her before switching his gaze blandly to her friend. "She said her part. If this is done, we have to keep on our schedule. I apologize for stepping it, but it's important," he said without much emotion of his own, his business voice. He wouldn't show if anything inflicted his mood action or facial wise, nor would he let it slip through his voice.

Kieran glanced over at him, "If you'll excuse us for a second, sir..." he mumbled taking Azul's hand gently in his hand leading her to where they were out of site. She looked back at Baralai, but had no choice whether or not to follow her friend. Once Kieran was sure Baralai couldn't hear them or see them, he smirked. "Princess...why? Why are you acting this way?" he asked her, staring into her emerald eyes with his own. She looked away, "Acting like what...?" she asked. He narrowed his eyes slightly, "Don't play dumb, Azul. You know what I mean." She shook her head, "Take it back, Kieran. I'm not acting dumb, I just don't know what you mean." He clenched his teeth together, "So...is it him? You'd rather be around a pitiful Yevonite then a fellow Al Bhed." Azul glared up at him, "I...don't know. Can't you just forget what we are? We're all still people." she scowled. "Forget who we are?" he exclaimed, "Have you forgotten the hatred toward people like him." Azul shook her head, "Stop living in the past." she told him. Her eyes widened when he reached into his pocket, pulling out a somewhat large gun. "What?" she asked, looking up at him in shock. Kieran loaded it and looked back down at her, "We can stop them...by killing their leader." Azul just stared up at him, "Are you insane? Don't you dare..." she said, getting worried. Kieran took a step away from her, "So you're defending him now? Is that it?" he asked, anger in his voice. "Kieran....don't..." she said, almost begging him. He just glared at her pointing the gun through the bushes, "It has to be done...you know it." "Kieran, no stop." she said trying to grab the gun from his hands. The two fought over it. A few moments later the sound of a gunshot could be heard, footsteps running away, and blood dripping to the ground. Azul lay there unconscious, a pool of the crimson liquid forming around her petite body. Kieran had already left, too in shock and having no clue what to do. She had been shot right in the side....would she be okay...? Or not?
