A girl wandered along the path, finally coming to the opening of the Moonflow. Sasha sighed and raised her arms above her head in a stretch, standing on her toes to stretch every possible muscle. The setting sun gleamed slightly on her leather outfit; her shirt was slightly revealing, showing her belly and lower back as well as her upper. She also wore leather arm 'socks' that reached to her upper arms and a blue ribbon was tied on her left arm for remembrance of her little brother two years back in the attack of Sin. Her skirt only went to mid-thigh, held up by a hot pink belt. To complete her songstress look, a blue ribbon was tied in her hair, the length the same as her ebony hair.
She raced up to the water, her hazel eyes following the whisps as they floated above the water. Oh how she'd give a day of singing to fly or float. She tilted her head, her waist-length ebony hair flowing slightly as she did, acting as a curtain around her slim, lithe body. Sasha had made a trip to the Moonflow to see if anyone had needed any moral-raising or just plain singing entertainment-her job and her hobbie. She had nothing else to do nor no where else to go, due to the fact her parents had left her nothing after their death seven years ago. She never charged anyone for her performances either, so she always made due with what people had given her personally. "Vous ĂȘtes mon soleil, mon seul soleil. Vous me faites heureux quand les cieux sont gris.. " she sang sofly, staring at the diminishing sun with her hands clasped behind her back.
["Vous ĂȘtes mon soleil, mon seul soleil. Vous me faites heureux quand les cieux sont gris.. " translates to "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey..." ^-^;;]

Spectral wandered about in his armor that he was usually wearing his scythe on his back safely away from where it could hurt its weilder. He didn't feel like getting some of his almost gone hair cut off. It had happened before and he was trying to make it so it never happened again but the weapon was so large that sometimes it was just too much and he hurt himself. Some warrior he was! Or at least a man with a Warrior's dressphere! Sometimes he thought he should have choosen to be a-
He heard a voice and turned his head around to see a young maiden standing on the side of the water singing. She was obviously a Songstress and Spectral couldn't help but smile at the thought of one of his twin brothers' who was also a Songstress. He stood back and watched her sing then walked over slightly disappointed that he had nothing to give her for her wonderful voice. "I can tell that you were definitely destined to be a Songtress," he told her in his deep voice that even though he tried to talk softly, cut through the air like the blade of the weapon he carried on his back.
"If I weren't a wanderer than I would surely give you something but sadly all I have are the clothes on my back as well as the weapon," he told her with a light chuckle. He extended his hand to hers smiling down at her from his tall vantage point. "I'm Spectral Malice."

Sasha almost leaped out of her skin at the deep voice, turning around, and looking up at the tall stranger. Her face turned a very light pink and she smiled warmly at him, taking his hand formally. "Thank you. I'm Sasha," she replied, exchanging a name for a name. Her hazel eyes examined him secretly, moving from his face to his weapon. She took a step to the right to get a better look, tilting her head slightly. "Hmm.. I wonder why I get the impression of the Grim Reaper when you're carrying that thing and your name is Spectral.." She intertwined her hands behind her back as she stepped back in front of him with a little bounce in her step. Yep, she was quite the sweet perky one alright, when not in the middle of a concert.

He just chuckled lightly at her peppiness around new people. Spectral had always been the very calm one of his family and not even the battles he had been in could keep him from being frightened or excited. "It's a pleasure, Sasha," he told her shaking her hand as gently as possible so that he didn't hurt her delicate looking hand. Though like his twin brother she was probably a lot stronger than she let on. She just probably never used weapons like he did to win a battle.
Looking back at his large scythe and just smiled gently. "You never know, I could be the Grim Reaper in disguise," he said playfully though it was a soft spoken kind of playing not like his brother who flirted shamelessly. He had a bit more dignity than the second oldest triplet. "I think I would have to just skip over you though because you're the second Songtress I've ever met and I have a fancy for you singers."

She laughed lightly. "Grim Reaper in diguise, hmm? Didn't think he was shy on appearances. Though you don't look as scary as I've heard.." she said with a slight high catch in her voice, maybe even a small teasing manner. When he announced meeting another songstress, before her in fact, she blinked. "Second you've met? Who's the first, if you don't mind my asking." True, it wasn't very often she herself met any other songstresses and Sasha's curiosity of this other singer was piqued. By now, her arms were crossed over her chest and she couldn't help but fidget and rock back and forth slightly on her feet. She always had to be moving somehow.

He raised his hand to run his fingers down the blade of the weapon and then looked back at her. "I'm not frightening to you because you've never been on the receiving end of my scythe," he told her then laughed to show that he was only joking. He only attacked someone if they attacked him first. Spectral had never started a fight and he wasn't going to mess with a Songstress, he had learnt his lesson from his younger brother. It had taken him three days just to get back up onto his feet after that boy went crazy and attacked him.
"My younger brother is a Songstress," he told her very proud of his younger twin for all that he had gone through to become a Songstress. He had some real guts being a guy and actually wanting and becoming a Song-Fighter. Jovial had always been the non-violent one in the family. "He's the youngest of the triplets in my family. I'm the oldest then there's one more after me. He had a very handsome voice."

Sasha blinked when he said triplets. Three twins? Wow.. Musta been hard on their parents to raise all three... "The youngest? When did he start singing? And how old are you guys exactly? You look like you're in.. maybe your mid-twenties," she said with a slight giggle, but then she relaxed, her mouth curving into a soft smile. The three brothers sounded intriguing and it got her curiousity high. But what still got her attention was his younger brother and how, exactly, Spectral could carry a scythe around without slicing someone's head off in the process of turning... Sasha could just imagine it in her head: she'd simply be standing there and they'd, sadly, say their good-byes, and he'd turn to walk away and CHOP goes her head. She blinked again and shook the thought from her mind quickly, rubbing the back of her head slightly. Creepy.. but very nice and interesting..

(Sorry about last night, me just disappearing and all, but my internet went down completely and I couldn't get connected all night! ^-^)
"He started singing when we were kids," Spectral told her trying to remember the first time he had walked in on his brother singing. Jovial hadn't wanted them to know because he thought they would be embarrassed by him becoming something so girly, in his exact words. "I can't quite remember when but he was so afraid that he was going to shame up that he never really came out with it until I stumbled on him singing one day and that was it! I'll tell you I couldn't be any more proud of him!"
Spectral laughed at her glancing at his scythe and answered her question. "You're right, Sasha, I'm twenty-one," he told her giving one of his small smiles again. You rarely saw him smile like she did but it was nice to just let a little emotion out every once in a while instead of going all apathetic like he did in battle.

Sasha smiled, then turned around to face the water, watching the pyreflies go about their business if they had any. "Do you see them often? I don't think you'd be much of a family if you rarely get any contact with each other," she said. She was rather happy he had someone to care for, other than himself. Sasha always loved to see someone with their loved ones, or at least talk about them. Although she rarely saw her own parents when she was a child, she loved them dearly and had a hard time letting go of them after their death. Yet her singing had helped her when she discovered it and spent her time helping Spira when she could. Sasha smiled brightly and looked back at Spectral. "Take care of them when you can and don't forget to tell them things that are on your mind that you want to tell them. You might regret it some day." And she meant it. In all the time she had had with her parents, she never once told them to stay with her for just one day. Never had she told them how much she really missed them when they got back from a trip. That was just how it was for her.

He listened to her with a soft smile on his face knowing that all she was saying was very true. Very true indeed. He had never been one to express his emotions but he couldn't help but lay his hand on her head lightly letting a wider smile cross his usually stotic face. "You're very right, Sasha. I do cherish them with my life and we get to see each other at least once a week but they are both wanderers as well; one is a thief and the other, as you know, is a Songstress. We're not rooted to one place but we do like to get together seeing as we don't have our parents anymore. We stick up for each other and I think that Jovial would absolutely adore you," the tall man told her gently never having heard himself with such a soft tone to his voice.

Sasha was in bit of a shock due to the fact of what he had done. The only thing anyone had ever done in the past was talk to her about her career or try to pry her past out of her, nothing more but simple words. She wasn't exactly positive, but she had a faint idea that her face had turned a light pink. "Adore makes me sound too old or too young," she said with a laugh. "Despite the fact that I may act like a child sometimes, I can act my age, you know. I'm only twenty, so it doesn't hurt to have fun every once and while. Are you sure you're having fun, 'cause you look like you're always solemn or something like that."

He chuckled lightly at her staring out at the water ahead of them with his red dark eyes a soft smile on his face. She was right. He did look solemn all of the time but he had a good reason for it. "A warrior, in battle, must never show emotion because that means that the opponent can tell what you are thinking. They can tell what your next move will be and they can see what your weak points are. Even if I have been hit, I must never show the emotion of pain or my opponent will surely kill me," he explained to his conscious of the huge scythe on his back. It was a symbol that he was a warrior and a good one as well. He wasn't the best, no he would never say that he was but he was pretty good.

"Then it's a good thing I don't exactly fight, or I'll be killed too easily. Without emotion, my music is useless and it won't help people like I want it to. Plus I would just be a hassle in a battle with other people because they'd have to protect me all the time," she said, but a smile was on her face. She hated it when things phased her and she definitely didn't want to show it around others, afraid it'd bring them down for her sake. Sasha looked back at Spectral, her hands clasped together in front of her. "So... do you show any emotions out of battle? Like in public and around others? Or are you conscious of getting attacked at any given moment and someone could be watching you?" If so, he needed to loosen up some. It just wasn't fun being on guard all the time. To her, it was just a waste of a nice life that was given to you for free.

He smiled knowing that his youngest brother was a very emotional guy. That was just Jovial for you! He was always showing his emotions and it made Spectral a bit envious because he had always been known as the one of the brothers that could keep a straight face. He could sit through a torturing and still keep on a narrow line for a mouth. He just didn't want to be hurt or for his brothers to be hurt either because of something he screwed up on.
"I'm showing emotions now aren't I? Not many but I can still smile and laugh and I haven't cried in a long time but I still shed tears," he told her letting that smile cross his lips again just to show her that the happiness and gentleness in his grin went to his eyes. "I just have a hard time going from Warrior-Apathic to Spectral-Empathic. It's hard to be two people at once."

She dropped her hazel eyes to the ground, a hint of sadness in them and her smile faltering slightly. "Well.. don't try to be two people. Be yourself, so I know you and not a fake Spectral. I may seem a bit flashy with these clothes and a little weird off stage, but you don't have to hide yourself in front of me. Just think of me as... um..." Sasha put one hand on her waist as she tapped her chin with the pointer finger of her right hand, thinking. "A very good acquaintance you've known for a few years and you're comfortable around." She nodded, her smile returning as she tilted her head to the left, her ebony hair moving around her gently.
