Rakdos was a monster, he knew he was a monster. half his face was missing and his right arm was a flame, and people ran away from him because of it, and never cared about his childhood that made him a monster. Now he lives along a road with spirits who alway seem to be restless, Rakdos wasn't sure if it was his peasants that made them this way but, they were, and he dealt with it. Today he was following someone walking along his path, and was trying to decide if to attack them.

(Hope you don't mind! ^^)
Ivy skipped down a path on the Mushroom Rock Road with a happy smile on her face from coming back from a small little battle. She was such an oddity to see with her thick white hair and bright icy blue eyes that seemed almost green. She was always smiling and wearing her purple outfit that showed off her curves and body quite nicely from what people said. Always happy-go-lucky and never frowning as she would run around in the streets of the towns she went to as a wanderer with her long sword tied to her well rounded waist. It had a blue jewel in it and was a bit magical but she was a Dark Knight more than a mage.
While skipping she turned around quickly looking about her with her large eyes. Sure, she was strange looking but most people didn't mind the older woman that much. Ivy didn't act her age so people just assumed she was eighteen or something like that when she was really twenty-nine, or round abouts seeing as she didn't care about her age all that much. "Why are you following me?" she asked absolutely no one but she could sense that someone was right behind her watching her. "You don't have to hide!" She gave a bright smile as she stood there knowing that if whoever was following her would want to hurt her that she had her sword on her side. Ivy just didn't wear it for decoration, you know!?

(it is fine)
Rakdos knew that he had to come out of hiding, so he ran out on to the path, stopping in front of Ivy and like an animal, he growled, and used other scare tactics. He then let out a roar than could be heard up and down the road, and scared out some animals. Rakdos grabbed a small rat like animal and bit into it, his favorite scare tactic.

Ivy had her hand on her sword instantly but stayed where she was and looked up at the creature that was standing before her. She had never seen anything like him as he growled and roared and bit into a rat. All that showed of her mental movement was a wince as the rat cried out in pain and she smiled afterwards with her crazy grin. This girl wasn't one to get frightened by someone's first impression and perhaps he was a lot better than most thought. Ivy had always known that it wasn't right to judge someone on how they looked but she was pretty sure that he got it tons of times and couldn't come out of hiding unless to scare off silly wanderers like her.
"If you expect me to scream like a little girl and run down that trail than you're wrong!" she laughed still a bit sad that the rat had to die. "Besides even if you tried to scare me with my back turned than it wouldn't have just melted into a fight!" Ivy patted the hilt of her sword affectionately as she stood there smiling up at the creature before her. She didn't draw her weapon though because that would only cause trouble and God knew that Ivy was never looking to make trouble, just to finish the trouble other people had made.

Rakdos was shocked, the only thing most people said to him was,"get away from me monster," or, "don't touch me, freak." Rakdos shook his head and smiled, and made a decision, he would kill this girl, just toy with her for a little. Rakdos took out his ax, and with unnatural speed swung it so completely crushed a rock.

Ivy could tell that he wasn't used to people acting as she did and thought it was kind of silly that people saw him differently than they did around people who were the stereotypical normal. Even if he was a bit strange and an oddity she didn't see him as anything but a possible friend or maybe even an enemy. It didn't matter to her which one he decided to be but as long as she saw him like she did everyone else with all of their body parts in perfect condition than that made her happy. She had stepped up beyond the regular Humans that called themselves worthy of being pure but she was an innocent soul, though she did have a few deaths on her head but she was working to repent for those sins of the past.
She reached for her sword and brought it out of its long sheath that nearly dragged the ground and held it up as protection. "I warn you, my fine friend," she said with a smile on her face. "I'm not just a bunch of smiles all wrapped in a woman's body and I can fight as well as the next!" Ivy had never been one for gloating but she was pretty good and hadn't died just yet so that was an accomplishment in itself. She just thought he should know before he started his attack and of course the crushing of the rock was pretty impressive but she could do just as much damage and slashed at a rock next to her. It didn't shatter though and cut right through the middle; in a clean cut no doubt! A smirk reached the Dark Knight's face as she pushed back her thick braid of hair.

Rakdos would have smiled if it wasn't for the fact he had no cheeks, he liked this girl, she was really brave. Most people took off when he went through that display. He then put the ax on his back, and smiled and in a voice that had its own monstrous quality to asked,"so what are you doing here?" as if he hadn't acked like an animal a little bit before.

She really had expected him to attack her or charge or something. Anything but talk to her and look as if he might be content that she hadn't stopped and ran when he acted like a total monster. She didn't see him as such and so wasn't moved by the display and knew that under every sheet of skin was a kind heart no matter how hard some people tried to hide it from others. Ivy had always been able to bring that part of someone out and this had been no different. She smiled at him when he spoke and lowered her long sword to the ground so that she could rest her arms from the heavy sword. Even if it didn't look like much the weapon was very heavy and sometimes she just couldn't hold it up all that well.
Pushing back her long braid of hair she leaned on the jeweled hilt of her sword and smiled over at him. "I'm a wandering Dark Knight," she told him without hesitation or fear of him knowing something he shouldn't. She didn't have anything to hide, well, not too much to hide anyways. Everyone had their secrets and she was no different but he didn't need to know about her problems so she just acted like her normal self and didn't worry about things like that. "The name's Ivy and I just go around without a care looking for trouble! As you've probably noticed...I find it quite well!" She was of course joking around and chuckled lightly to show that it was a teasing remark.

Rakdos replied, "very well, you can pass." the way Rakdos said this, it sounded like he owned the road, which was kind of true, after all he was the only one living there. There was someone else who lived here, but Rakdos killed him and hung his body somewhere along the road. Then Rakdos heard a noise and turned to see people who have been trying to get rid of him of a long time, and Rakdos took out his ax with a smiled, it would be nice to see these people die.

She did a bow before getting ready to sheath her sword but then saw someone coming up the path and wondered who they were seeing as the creature she had been talking to was now in a defensive position. Ivy wondered if they were people who had been giving him trouble and walked over to stand beside him staring at them with her bright eyes full of innocence and questioning. Looking up at the man beside her she then turned to glace back at them.
"Well I'm glad that you're going to let me pass but can I ask who they are?" she asked gesturing towards the people that were coming towards them. They looked like they weren't very nice people so she decided to stand with her sword resting on her shoulder in a comfortable position. There was no way she was going to just walk away when he might need her help though she was sure that he could handle them just fine. It was better to be safe then sorry.

"people," replied Rakdos,"I am not very popular, people come to kill me all the time." Rakdos let out a loud roar, before he engaged one of the people in combat.

She couldn't understand why someone would want to come to kill him but then again she was very open minded and didn't mind things that were right in front of her and not considered normal. He looked perfectly fine to her and yet there were people coming after them to try and attack him. Well, she wasn't going to just sit around and watch him fight so she charged as well and attacked one of the guys that was trying to gang up on the creature she had just met. He was surprised by her attack and charged her as well but her sword was stronger than his. She fought with him for a while then decided to just get it over with. Using her power of a Dark Knight she attacked all of the opponents and in turn was hurt herself. A few cuts appeared on her body but she didn't so much as wince; it was a good and bad thing to be a Dark Knight.
She saw them start to retreat and laughed brightly with her sword rested on her shoulder as she wiped away the blood on her cheek. "Well, that was fun!" she said happily looking at her new friend with a joyous smile on her face. "You get that a lot I guess? I don't get attacked unless I've done something wrong but I can't see why they would want to attack someone like you!" She was naive sometimes and she couldn't help it that she wasn't like other people and just didn't see the ugliness of her new friend that she had made.

"well, they have there reasons for hating me," replied Rakdos, pulling away his ax, "when I first came here, I kind of cleared out all the people living here, and I kind of look like a monster. People also hate my beliefs," then Rakdos started to walk to were he set up his makeshift house, it was a long walk to it, so he had to start the walk now so he could get there before nightfall.

She looked at the wounds on her body noticing that some looked pretty bad while others were already scabbing over and she winced. That attack was meant to scare off people or creatures from her sight and usually it worked just as it did now but it took away a lot of her strength so she was tired and pained now. Her wounds were throbbing as she sheathed her sword going after him. She hated to be a bother but she needed to keep close so that she didn't get the bad end of those people coming after her again. Pushing her hair back she didn't notice the blood in it and looked up at her friend with a smile on her face even if she was in pain.
"Do you know if there is a stream or something around here because if I don't get these wounds cleaned out then I'll be likely to get an infection!" she said keeping up with his long stride with her slender legs. "Though you're such a nice guy to me so I don't know why they would be able to condem you for your past actions! I guess that's just the way of Humans!" She laughed again placing her arms across her chest the wounds on her arms throbbing as she did so but she didn't mind those and just kept her smile up through the pain.

Rakdos turned to answer and saw the blood on Ivy,"I think there is one nearby, but you can use the bath I set up in my house, it is just over here," then Rakdos pointed to a small lump in the distance,"it is right over there."
